The Caseta Motion Sensor can be used to enhance the automation of your Caseta dimmers, switches, and fan controls. This sensor can be programmed as an occupancy or vacancy sensor, allowing it to automatically control any number of Caseta devices when you enter or leave a room. One motion sensor can control multiple Caseta devices within a range of up to 60 ft. and has a detection capability that is three times better than other comparable sensors.

The motion sensor features a full 180° field of view and a typical battery life of 10 years, which is three times longer than the industry average. It can be used for both occupancy and vacancy applications, and can be placed freestanding on a flat surface or mounted on a wall or in a corner, making it suitable for bathrooms, laundry rooms, hallways, garages, and other high-traffic areas. Alternatively, it can be placed in low-traffic areas to ensure that you never forget to turn off the lights.

The sensor allows you to set your desired light level on each device it controls, so that when it switches on, your devices will automatically turn on to the preset level. This feature provides further customization options.
